SUTHERLAND (Whitehills) Passed away peacefully, after a short illness, at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary on Wednesday, April 25, 2018, Jane Merson Sutherland (Jean), aged 87 years, retired school teacher Whitehills, beloved daughter of the late George and Georgina Sutherland, White Ship, Shore Street, Portsoy, a dear sister and a loving auntie. Service in Whitehills, Parish Church on Saturday, May 5 at 10am, to which all friends are respectfully invited and thereafter to Portsoy Cemetery. Family flowers only please and if so desired, donations in lieu at church door for R. N. L. I. and the Lighthouse Support Centre, Tillydrone, Aberdeen. "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning".
