SUTHERLAND (Peterhead)Peacefully passed into the presence of her Lord, in the tender loving care of the staff at Sunnybank Care Home, Cruden Bay, on Tuesday, April 26, 2016, Margaret Jane Strachan Birnie (Salvationist),, aged 89 years, dearly loved and cherished wife of the late David Sutherland (both formerly of Copeman Avenue, Peterhead). A much loved and loving mum of John, such a proud and devoted granny to Kimberley and Jenna and so equally proud and devoted great-granny to Poppy. Very sadly and sorely missed. Service in The Salvation Army Hall, Windmill Street, Peterhead, on Saturday, April 30, at 10.00 a.m., to which all friends are respectfully invited and thereafter to Grange Cemetery. Family flowers only, but if so desired, donations in lieu of flowers at the hall door for chosen charities. "Promoted to Glory."
