GORDON Derek, Kevin, Andrea and the rest of the family wish to convey their sincere thanks to relatives, friends and neighbours for the kind expressions of sympathy extended to them personally, by way of telephone calls and many cards following the great loss of Katherine (Kathy), a truly loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandma, sister, aunt, great-aunt and loyal friend to many. Thanks to the wonderful staff at Allan Ward, Inverurie Hospital, to Doctors Allan and Hood for their care and understanding. Special thanks to Bob Johnstone for his comforting service, to Eric P. Massie Funeral Services for their professional handling of the funeral arrangements, to Esther and Ian for their tireless support and constant visits, especially over the final few weeks. Finally, thanks to all who paid their last respects at the service and who made donations in aid of Allan Ward. Kathy was a truly remarkable woman with a big, strong, loving heart, who will be sadly missed but never forgotten. The brightest star in the sky.
