SCOTT Mrs Eleanor Scott wishes to sincerely thank Mr Meiklejohn and his staff at Blackadders for their practical help and comforting presence at Ken's funeral; thanks also to the chaplain and the captain of the 1st Carnoustie Boys Brigade, who supported Jane, Clare and Louise at this sad time, the kind words of the captain at the service and the Leaders and boys past and present in full uniform lined up in church were particularly moving for us a family; my sincere thanks to friends and neighbours in both Perth and Carnoustie for their messages of condolence, and in particular those past colleagues of my husband from the Hannah Research Institute, Ayrshire, where Ken also spent his university vacations; lastly, warm thanks to all those who attended the service in Carnoustie Church and at Parkgrove Crematorium, Friockheim. Kenneth was indeed blessed to have had so many friends. Donations to Diabetes UK were gratefully received.
