COUTTS (Inverurie) At Lytham St Anne's, on Friday, October 17, 2008, Uncle Sam (George) passed away aged 92 years, youngest child of the late Mary Jane Greig and Captain William Ernest Coutts (Inverurie), last grandchild of the late Gavin Greig, schoolmaster and collector of North-East folk songs (Whitehills, New Deer). Sam was a loving father to Margo and Greig and to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be remembered with great affection.
