ALLAN (Inverurie)Jane and family would like to thank all relatives, friends, neighbours and colleagues for the many kind expressions of sympathy extended to them by cards, telephone calls, letter, flowers and personal visits following the sad passing of Ranald James Allan. Thanks to all medical personnel in the home and community for their excellent care. Thanks also to Dr David Hood and Dr Chris Allan for their undivided care and attention, thanks also to Dr Brewis for taking great care of Jane during Ranald's illness. Thanks to the District Nurse Team and Marie Curie, for whom the funds raised at the church door totalled £1300.00 Special thanks to Rev Euan Glen for his comforting service, and to Eric P Massie Funeral Services for their excellent care and attention to detail. Grateful thanks to John Glover for the very personal eulogy, and to Michael Mc Phee for his brilliant solo on the day, and to all those who paid their last respects at the church and graveside, to the piper Norman Fiddes for his rendition at the cemetery, and finally to the Strathburn Hotel for providing a fitting funeral tea.
