DAVIDSON Peter, Nicola and David Robertson, would like to thank all who attended the funeral of their grandad, Jimmy Davidson - Poet, artist, painter and decorator- of Mastrick, on Friday, October 11. Jimmy was a great man who touched many lives, which was shown by all the neighbours, friends and relatives who sent cards, flowers, phoned with kind words of condolences and attended the funeral and the wake. Thanks to Betty for arranging the funeral flowers and Brian Smith`s of Peterculter, who provided an excellent service. The staff of Ward 14, Dr. McEwen and Christine the District Nurse from Northfield and the many people who provided outstanding care for Jimmy in his last days at Bon Accord Street, with special thanks to Jackie. It has been said by several people that it was one of the best and most personal funeral`s ever attended, which is just what Jimmy would have wanted- Special thanks to Harold (Bud) Bishop and John Anderson who spoke at the funeral along with ourselves and made this happen. Our grandad was a strong, loving, funny man and we will miss him deeply.
