ROSS (Inverness) Peacefully, at Raigmore Hospital, Inverness, after a short illness, borne with great courage and dignity, on September 24, 2009, Elma McInnes, aged 79 years, 76 Towerhill Road, Inverness (retired nurse), much loved wife of Donnie Ross, dearly loved mother and best friend to Donna and James, adored grannie of Martin, Craig, Sean and Michael, mother-in-law of Steve and Rosie, also a dear sister, aunt and friend. Funeral service on Thursday, October 1, at 1.30 p.m., in St. Stephen's Church, Southside Road, Inverness, to be followed by a Committal Service at Inverness Crematorium. All friends respectfully invited. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired, to the Special Care Baby Unit, Raigmore Hospital, may be given at the service or forwarded to D. Chisholm & Sons, Huntly Street, Inverness, IV3 5HP.
