LEGGE (Peterhead) Eva and family wish to convey their sincere appreciation to all relatives, friends and neighbours who have been so kind to them, both during Frank's illness and in his passing. The expressions of sympathy by way of cards, flowers, letters, telephone calls, along with personal callers to the house and practical acts of kindness, words can never express their gratitude and also the donations received in lieu of flowers, which will be shared between Gastric Cancer Research Ward 33 and Cancer Research Relay for Life which totalled in excess of ?1200. Special thanks to Dr. G. Strachan, Mr Park, medical and nursing staff at Ward 33, A.R.I. and Carol Thornton for their valuable support which was far and beyond their call of duty and also the community nurses for their input to Frank's home care. To our neighbour and friend Mr Tom Stephen for his visitations and such lovely words of tribute and reassuring words of comfort. To Robert Mackie and staff for their efficient and courteous handling of the funeral arrangements, and finally, to the many who paid their last respects both in the Almanythie Hall and at Grange Cemetery. 11 Douglas Crescent, Peterhead.
