SPENCELEY

Pamela

(Parker) Pamela, a local herbalist and healer, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, after working and living in the area for over 30 years. She was well known in the community and had practices in Ludlow and Leominster. Beloved by many, Pamela was an important part of many peoples lives, as she became a dear Friend to her patients and helped them not only with her knowledge of herbal medicine, but also with her kind an caring nature. She lived a life dedicated to her work and patients and will be sorely missed by her Family, Friends and all who knew her. Pamela had planned a private Funeral but in due course there will be a celebration of her life organised by the Family. Memorial donations may be made to the British Heart Foundation or Forest Dog Rescue.

Remembering the Ceilidh Band

Very saddened to hear the news of Pamela’s passing. I used to be in a ceildih band with Pamela in the 1990’s. We performed at many events, weddings and parties in South Shropshire and the Welsh Border area. She was both the caller and MC and was excellent at creating a fun atmosphere for everyone involved. Many fine evenings of laughter, music and dance were had. They were great times and she will be greatly missed. Brian Jones Vancouver, Canada
