BRUCE (Fraserburgh) May, Alex and all the family wish to express their sincere thanks to all family, friends and neighbours for the many kind and thoughtful messages of sympathy they received on the recent passing of Mattie, wife of the late Zander Bruce, a much loved mam, grandma, great-grandma and dearest friend to many. Special thanks to Fiona Whyte, Fiona Forbes and all Mattie's carers from Eildon Support Services for looking after Mattie and her cat (granny's boy); to the Ambulance Service and ARI for their fast response and making Mattie comfortable in her last hours; to the Community Nurses of Fraserburgh Saltoun Surgery for their weekly visits; to all family, friends and neighbours for their frequent visits at home and to Chris and Janice for their delicious home bakes. Our heartfelt thanks to Rhoda Mcdonald for putting together a lovely service; to James Gibb for a beautiful tribute; to Alexander Buchan & Son, Funeral Directors for the sympathetic and professional handling of the funeral arrangements, with special thanks to Owen for his comforting and professional handling and attention; to Pink Petal Florist for the beautiful arrangements; to the ladies of the Old Parish Church Centre for serving up lovely refreshments, special thanks to Davie for the great homemade sausage rolls and finally thanks to everyone who came to pay their last respects to Mattie at the Chapel and graveside and so generously donated £438.70 for The Cats Protection, your presence was greatly appreciated and a great comfort to all the family. Mattie will be a huge miss to all but will forever live on in our hearts and memories.
