HOLMES Peacefully after a short illness, at the Glen O'Dee Hospital, Banchory, on Thursday, July 14, 2022, Dora Holmes, aged 90 years, just short of 50 years in Banchory. Beloved wife of the late Wilfred Holmes, mother of Mary Jane and Philip, and a loving and proud granny and great-granny. Funeral service in Baldarroch Crematorium, Crathes, on Thursday, July 28, at 10am, followed by a memorial service at St Ternan's Episcopal Church, Banchory, at 11am. All are welcome. She will be missed by her friends in Banchory, her old Girl Guides and fellow members of St Ternan's. Family flowers only please, but any donations to the Friends of the Cruickshank Botanic Gardens.
