GIBB Dr Richard Alexander, born on February 16, 1936, in Fraserburgh, Scotland, died after a three year struggle with IPF in Ottawa, on August 23, 2019. Only son of William Ford Gibb and Jean Summers (nee Duthie) formerly of Fraserburgh, Aberdeen and Forfar. He is survived by his beloved and devoted wife of 59 years, Maureen Dawn (nee Miller), pharmacist and Realtor, formerly of Aberdeen and his three loving children, his three cherished grandsons and his loving sister, Educated in Aberdeen, Birmingham and Ottawa. Dr Gibb, B. A, B. S. C, MSC, PHD was a geologist and research manager with Natural Resources, Canada, based in Ottawa Canada for 33 years.
