FINDLAY Ian and Kathleen would like to pass on their gratitude to all the people involved in the care of Freda, who died on January 26 and also those who played their part in phoning, visiting and chauffeuring Freda, the team at Terra Nova House Practice, especially the excellent G.P.s deserve a mention, her wonderful group of carers from D.C.C. who boosted her well being on a daily basis, her friend Mabel, who was her “driver and rock”, her neighbour Jim who did errands, odd jobs and was always there, plus all her High Kirk friends who kept in contact since January 8, we also had cause to be very impressed by the compassionate care shown to Freda by the entire staff of Wards 7 and A.C.P.U. 23B at Ninewells Hospital; we must also give special thanks to the Reverend Emma McDonald for her visits and for arranging the order of service, which Freda would have enjoyed, lastly, the very capable and caring team at David Scott Funeral Directors, Blairgowrie, who were so kind to us, as were all the friends who paid their last respects at the funeral and generously donated to Macmillan Cancer Support.
