Peacefully, after a short illness, in the Western General Hospital, Edinburgh, on April 12, 2016, Teresa, aged 86, much loved sister of Margaret Aitken (nee Gourlay) and the late Patrick Gerard and Mary Frances and a devoted aunt to numerous nieces and nephews and their extended families. Teresa will be received into St Peters R. C. Church, Falcon Avenue, Edinburgh on Tuesday, April 26, at 6 p.m., with a Requiem Mass at 10.30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 27, followed by a burial at Hayfield Cemetery, Hayfield Road, Kirkcaldy, at 1.30 p.m. A collection will be held after the Requiem Mass in aid of Teresa's chosen charities.
