THOMSON (Forres/Thurso)Sudde nly but peacefully at her home, 3 Allan Drive, Forres, Alice Swanson, aged 83 years, (formerly of Castle Terrace, Thurso). Dearly loved wife of the late Simpson, cherished mum and mother in law to Alice and Sinclair and devoted granny to Lyndsay and the late Eilidh. A much loved sister, aunt, friend and granny Alice to many. Funeral service in St Laurence Parish Church, Forres on Thursday October 8, 2015 at 2.30 pm. Followed by service in Thurso West Church on Friday October 9, 2015 at 12.00 noon, thereafter to Mount Vernon Cemetery Thurso. All family and friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please but donations to Alice's favourite charity, MFR Cash for Kids can be made at church doors or forwarded to Andrew Smith Funeral Director,20 High Street, Forres IV36 1DB.
