NEILSON Suddenly, in her 80th year, at her home, on Friday, July 25, 2014, Grace McIntosh Neilson (nee Sturrock), loved and loving third daughter of the late William and Jessie Sturrock (formerly Smithy Cottage, Whigstreet), and much loved and loving wife of the late John Neilson and much loved and loving partner of the late John (Hans) Thieme. Grace was a most loving and caring sister, sister- in-law, aunt and grandaunt and dear friend to many. A golden heart has stopped beating. Funeral will take place on Monday. August 11, 2014. A short tribute will be held in the service rooms of Sturrock Comb & Davidson Funeral Directors, 102 St Vincent Street, Broughty Ferry DD5 2EY, at 10.30 a.m., this will be followed by a church service in Inverarity Church, by Forfar, at 11.45 a.m., with interment thereafter in the churchyard.

One of the kindest, nicest people

It was very sad news when we heard that Grace had passed away, she was without a doubt one of the kindest, nicest, loving, caring and most sincere people we have ever met and my husband, myself and my two little boys consider it a privilege to have known her and to have called her our friend xxx Arlene, Steven, Harper and rosco xxx

Already missed, it is with great sadness that Aunt Grace is no longer with us. Such a wonderful friend, confidant, supporter and giver of kindness to so many. A tireless philanthropist for many needy causes and chronicler of family history, always making sure your birthday was remembered with a card or wee mindie! Now at peace and with those that went before her in her rightful place in Heaven. Fond memories and love from all of us, Ronnie, Trish and families. XXX
