BRUCE (Peterhead) Suddenly but peacefully, at Kirkburn Court Care Home, Peterhead (after a long illness courageously endured with great dignity), on Thursday, July 28, 2011, Robert (Bert) Bruce, in his 85th year, dearly loved and cherished husband of Elizabeth (Betty) Brown of 8 Eden Drive, Peterhead, a much loved da of Elaine and David, a dear father-in-law of Moira, a proud and devoted granda of Fayona, Lauren, Roberta and David, a dear granda Bert of Aiden and Alyssa. Service in The Almanythie Hall, Grange Road, Peterhead, on Tuesday, August 2, at 1 p.m., to which all friends are respectfully invited, funeral thereafter to Grange Cemetery. No callers please. Family flowers only, but if so desired, donations in lieu of flowers at the hall door, for chosen charities. `His life was full of kindly deeds, a helping hand to all in need'. Very sadly missed by all.
