Formerly of Shropshire House, Prees. Wife of the late Victor Ray, Mother of the late Ann and Alan. Passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 24, 2011, at Elmhurst Nursing Home, Prees, just 3 weeks short of her 100th birthday. She is survived by Daughter-in-law Marjorie, six Grandsons Christopher, Rupert, Jeremy, Charles, Stephen and Anthony and also twelve Great-Grandchildren.

As the Post Mistress in Prees for over 40 years, a keen hockey player, Parish Counsellor and WI member, she willbe fondly remembered by many.

Her Funeral will be held at Emstrey Crematorium, on Monday, May 9, at 11.20am, followed by a Thanksgiving Service at St Chad's Church, Prees, at 12.30pm.

Family flowers only please but donations, if desired, in memory of Mary is to be divided between St Chad's Church, Prees and Cancer Research UK.
