Peacefully in hospital on March 30, 2011, aged 70 years, after a short illness.

Former Deputy Chief of Shropshire Fire Brigade and Deputy Commandant at the Fire Service College.

Beloved Husband to Sheila, lovingand much loved Dad to Julia, Lois, Simon, Jason, Paul and Claire and devoted Grandad.

He will be greatly missed by all his Family and Friends.

Funeral Service at Shrewsbury Crematorium, on Thursday, April 7, at 3.20pm.

Family flowers only please and donations if desired to Macmillan Cancer Support.

A man who touched my heart from the day we first met. I remember seeing you walk over the bridge at the boat show and the look on your face when you saw your son. It was a look of such love and pride. I am sad not to have known you longer but will remember you forever. Love Sarah. xxxx
