Formerly of Canonbie-Lea, Madeley, aged 90 years.

Douglas passed peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, December 12, 2010, with his beloved Wife by his side at Maesbrook Care Home, Shrewsbury, were they had both lived and being lovingly cared for during the last three years.

Much loved Husband of Margaret, devoted Dad of Les and Rob, Lyn and Ern, treasured Grandpa of Jennie, Robert, Victoria, James and David and a dear Brother of Joy, always remembered for his wonderful sense of humour, wisdom and unfailing support.

'All his determination could not keep him with us.'

Funeral Service, 2.30pm, Wednesday, December 22, at St Luke's Church, Ironbridge, followed by Interment in Castle Green Cemetery.

Family flowers only by request but if desired donations for Cancer and Polio Research Fund would be appreciated.
