Many great times we spent together in our younger days, I remember all the outfits we made together on your Mum and Dads front room floor, ready to go out to your brothers band The Starfinders. You were a natural seamstress teaching me the right way to do things. Ever loving Sister In-Law Valerie X

Greta or Ta as I used to call her when I was little.....she always blamed me for her hip problems and being lob sided as she put it, for carrying me on it as a little girl and taking me everywhere with her, I blame Ta for my early introduction to the party world as my weekly visits with her to the Boys Club. She has been an inspiration and soul mate to me throughout my life, particually through the loss of my parents, her very dear Uncle & Aunty, whom will be there to guide her into a new and beautiful new world she richly deserves. Greta will be missed by so many people,, as she touched all of our lives in so many different ways. We are all blessed and as a family we have an unbreakable strenghth and bond which will help to guide us through the difficult days ahead and right there by our sides our precious guardian angel Greta will be. I am Greta's dad, and on behalf of my dear wife and myself we wish to take this opportunitity to thank everyone for your wonderful tributes to Greta conveyed in these messages .From Greta's early childhood we slowly began to realise that we had been blessed with a very special daughter with very loving and caring qualities , and a wonderful bubbly personality, and as the years passed by we knew we had been blessed with someone very special indeed. We are both 84 yrs of age now, and never in our wildest dreams, did we think we would live to whitness such a tragic event in our lives. We our very shocked indeed by this cruel twist of fate,as are so many people , and we all must try to follow her example in our everyday lives as a tribute to a very special lady indeed.

Many things to so many people

Greta is my Aunty, and a great deal more to me. We did many things together, and I mistakenly thought that we would get to keep her for much longer. My Faerie wings feel truly broken without her, but I know they will flutter again sometime soon, because I take great strength in all that she taught me and the time we shared. As a child she encouraged my creativity and allowed me to day dream of imaginary beings and enchantment. She continued to indulge me in all the beautiful things in life, and has helped to shape me in to the person I am today, to which I'm eternally grateful. Aunty Greta….. one of a kind and truly inspirational. X

Gone too soon!

Natalie

Greta touched the hearts of numerous people in her lifetime and many saw her as a 2nd mum, for me she truly was that! I can’t remember my life without Greta; I consider myself blessed to have shared such happy memories with her and her family. Greta really was ‘one of the good ones’ and whilst her passing leaves a gaping hole for so many of us, I sincerely hope that we take inspiration from her love of life, and the unconditional care she gave to all. God has called back one of his angels; you will always be in our hearts. All my love, Natalie xxx

Her boys are a credit to her. They are very special to us. Imogen and Amelia have had a very special time with Gaggy, she took them swimming dancing made things pictures sewing knitting nothing was to much trouble for them they will always remember that time. Greta was a very bubbly person loved life and loved a laugh she made friends with every one and then friends of friends. Greta was the lady that walked in the town always with children in tow and pushing a buggy. If anyone was in trouble you could phone Greta she would soon sort it. She will be missed by myself Grant and Natalie. God bless you.
