One year today.

The hardest thing in life to bear is to want your Son and he's not there, if we could visit Heaven on this the saddest day, maybe for a moment our pain would go away, we would put our arms around you and whisperwords so true, living life without you is very hard to do, your resting place we visit, flowers we place with care, no one knows the heartache as we turn and leave you there, so forgive us Lord if we still weep, for our Son who we loved and longed to keep.

Though your smile has gone forever and your hand I cannot touch, still I have so many memories of the Brother I loved so much, your memory is my keepsake with which I'll neverpart, God has you in His keeping, I have you in my heart, it is sad to walk the road without you, instead of side by side but to all there comes a moment when the ways of life divide, Brother you gave me years of happiness, then came sorrow and tears butyou left me beautiful memories I will treasure through the years.
