BILL SHERIDAN

DAVID COLLEN

01 June 2010
Sad news, indeed. Bill was an inspirational captain of Old Yardleians RFC and did much to hold the Club together during a difficult period in its history. Always cheerful, and with a ready smile, Bill was liked by everyone who knew him. A more than useful club athlete, Bill was best known at Sparkhill Harriers for completing the final stages of a club road race, around the streets of Birmingham, on a 37 bus. Bill,of course, cheerfully admitted to his ruse, having crossed the line in much better shape than the genuine finishers. A good man sadly missed. David Collen OYRFC
