One year today.

I sat beside your bedside, not knowing what to do, I held your hand, I kissed your face and told you how much I loved you. Through my tears I saw you sinking, I watched you fade away and although my heart was breaking, I knew you could not stay. Not a day goes by that you are not my first thought in the morning and my last before I close my eyes at night. Precious memories I keep in my heart, of the best Mom in the world. Love you forever and infinity.
