A dear friend and ex colleague of our father from Aberdeen Sherriff Court in the 1950s/60s when he was a young Police Constable and she a court officer.
Charlotte was a regular visitor to our parents home over the years and her laughter and enthusiasm brightened many a day. Her thoughtul messages to us when our parents passed away in 1991 and 2001 were typical of her kindness and consideration.
Very sad to hear of her passing and so sorry to have missed her funeral.

I have happy memories of traveling to Aberdeen from NZ with my children in 1990 and meeting Charlotte for the first time - we all sat in her garden enjoying our lunch together. In 2008 I spent an hour with her while she was looking at a photo album reminiscing and told me about her golfing days. She often spoke of the good times she had with my mother - Violet Spray(nee Garden)

I have very happy memories of trips with Charlotte on my visit home to Aberderen, especially her saying "I'm nae lost, Linda. I just dinna ken where I am right now". She was a mine of information for our family genealogy, contibuting many photos as well as background details. She wanted me to come back for her 90th, but, sadly, that cannot be. Cousin Linda Bruce (nee Garden).
