For all the times you gently picked me up, when I fell down.
For all the times you tied my shoes and tucked me into bed, or needed something but put me first instead.
For everything we shared, the dreams, the laughter and the tears.
I love you with a special love, that deepens every year.
Thank you Mum.
Sadly missed.

You always used to watch us,
Anxious if we were late.
In winter by the window,
In summer by the gate.
You watched us through such loving eyes,
You took such loving care.
The long road home would seem more safe
Because you waited there.
Your thoughts were all for us,
We never will forget,
And so we think that where you are,
You must be waiting yet.
Waiting until we come home safe,
Anxious if we're late.
Watching from Heaven's window,
Leaning on Heaven's gate.
Quite simply the best Mum anyone could have wished for. Thank you mum for everything. We love and miss you .
