Peacefully at The Highland Hospice, Inverness, on Tuesday, July 26, 2005, after an illness bravely borne with dignity, George Alexander, aged 89 years, Brae Guesthouse, Shore Street, Ullapool, ex POW 4th Batallion part of the 51st Highland Division Seaforth Highlanders, beloved husband of Rosanne (nee Steel), much loved father of William, Danny and Michael, also father-in-la w, adored grandfather and great-grandfathe r. Funeral service in the Church of Scotland, Ullapool, on Friday, July 29, at 11 a.m., thereafter to Morefield Cemetery. All friends respectfully invited. Family flowers only, donations in lieu, if so desired may be made at the church door in aid of the Highland Hospice and the Marie Curie Nursing Care.
