Peacefully, after a short illness, borne with resilience and dignity, at Woodend Hospital, Aberdeen, on Thursday, April 28, 2005, Mabel (nee Buchan and Pittendrigh), aged 85 years, widow of Douglas and Jack, sister of Peggy, Nannie and Jimmy, loving mum of Ian and Colin, devoted grandmother to Claire, Andrew and Barbara. Funeral arrangements later.
