Very suddenly, but peacefully, in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, on Sunday, October 3, 2004, Charles `Charlie Strathmore' (retired Chief Agricultural Officer, Scotland), 3 West Shinness, Lairg, a loving husband of Marie (nee Mitchell), a dearly loved father of Rod and Catriona, a much loved granpa of Alexander and Brendan and dear friend to many. Funeral service will be held in Lairg Parish Church, on Thursday, October 7, at 1 p.m., thereafter to Lairg Cemetery. All friends respectfully invited. Family flowers only please, but donations if so desired, may be given at the service for Lairg Day Care Centre Project Fund, or sent to Alasdair Rhind, Funeral Directors, Sutherland House, Bank Street, Tain. A memorial service will be held at Wardie Parish Church, Edinburgh at a later date.
