Peacefully, with great courage and dignity, at Kincardine Community Hospital, Stonehaven, on Wednesday, September 1, 2004, LT. Commander Allan G. Mitchell, MBE, RN (Retired), aged 87, beloved husband of the late Nan Mitchell (Nee WIlson) and the late Betty Mitchell (Nee Adan), Relic of John Hutcheson, loving father of Wendy, the late Laurence and father-in-la w of Andrew, dearest granpa of Joanne and Neil and a much loved brother and uncle. A celebration of his life will take place at Aberdeen Crematorium, Hazlehead (West Chapel), on Wednesday, September 8 at 1.35 pm., to which all friends are respectfully invited. No black ties to be worn at Allan's request. Family flowers only please.
