Peacefully, after a long illness, at Woodend Hospital, on Friday, August 27, 2004, George Nicholson Smith, D.S.O. (Dod), aged 90 years (former R.S.M. of 8th Army Royal Artillery, fondly known as GN, also formerly of Stoneywood Paper Mills). Dearly beloved husband of the late Bella, much loved and loving dad of Maureen and George, cherished grandad and great-grandad. Service at Aberdeen Crematorium, East Chapel, on Tuesday, September 7, at 11.30 a.m. All friends respectfully invited. Resting at Funeralcare, 46 Rose Street, Aberdeen.
