Peacefully, at Gartnavel General Hospital, Glasgow, on Friday, July 16, 2004, Chrissie Monk, of Benbecula. Beloved wife of the late Rev Colin MacKenzie, loving and loved mum of Catherine, Nan, Alex, Colin and Lilian, mum-in-law of John, Eleanor and Donald, dear grandmother of William and Alex John, great-grandmothe r of Maia Christina and a friend to many. Private funeral on the mainland at her own request. A service of thanksgiving will be held in Benbecula at a later date.
